Where to hear the music

Only a few TBP concerts have a set admission price. As we seek to share Bach's music as a gift with new audiences, we invite attendees to decide for themselves what to give and when---whether at the concert door (cash, card, and tap accepted) or through online donation.

Bach & Schütz

Program two juxtaposes Bach with the most important German early Baroque composer to precede him, Heinrich Schütz, in a program tuned to awe and contemplation, featuring Motet BWV 227 “Jesu, meine Freude,” selections from Schütz’s Musikalische Exequien, and music for unaccompanied cello.
